About project
Small water power plant Glavica is located in the town of Šipovo in the west of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project refers to the run-off-the-river power plant with the power of 2 MVA located at the River Pliva. The water supply channel is a concrete construction with a side and bottom outlet, with fine and coarse screens. It is 545 meters long and 8.5 meters deep. The engine room measuring 25x23 m hosts two generators with hydraulic pumps and control and electric power equipment. The power plant has two vertical Kaplan turbines with the control of blades of the runner and guide vanes. Each generator can generate 0.75 MW of power.
